Doutzen Kroes seems to have a mindset consistent with the more traditional mindset you ascribe to Flemish girls. I believe that Flemish is her first language. Got married and started a family relatively early as well. Doutzen is dutch, and speaks dutch. The flemish language is essentially dutch with a different accent, so it's not a separate language. Flanders is the dutch-speaking or flemish if you will part of Belgium. Flanders is also catholic whereas the Netherlands is protestant. That is part of the reason why the two cultures and as a result the women are different in my opinion.
